Job Vacancy - this is what we are looking for. Is this you???
J P Todd Glass and Glazing sometimes
needs to recruit a multi-skilled person to join the team, either
full or part-time. Our contracts
operate throughout the county and this is an exciting and interesting
position with a varied workload that includes 24hr emergency
boarding-up and security of premises; some on-site glass cutting;
glass installation
of single glazing and sealed units; and UPVc/aluminium door
and window products fault diagnosis, servicing and repairs. We
welcome
a person with experience in any of the above fields; ideally
a trained glazier/carpenter or locksmith would be an advantage
although
a factory trained window production operative may be suitable
for re-training. This job may also be suitable for a person
willing to advance their skills; someone that can think logically
and
work
in a disciplined manner, achieving excellent results. In addition
the business operates a specialist crime division which provides
services that enhance the work of the police and therefore
the successful applicant would need to undergo some specialist
on
the job training in dealing with crime aftermath. The right
applicant should possess exceptionally good skills in dealing with
our
clients;
many of whom are victims of crime; ideally be over 25; of smart
appearance and hold a clean driving licence; we operate a non-smoking
policy in the workplace, and restrict the use of mobile phones.
If you have any of the above skills and think you are the person
we’re looking for, we would be interested in talking to
you. Contact us for a confidential discussion.
